Celebration of Freedom

Don’t miss out the biggest event of the City, Celebration of Freedom. There will be parade, kids’ activities, music, fireworks, vendors, and lots of people. The event starts with a parade from the City hall in the morning followed by festivities at Zadow Park.  Zadow Park would be very lively with vendors all around, there would also be Children’s Play Area, Live music and Fireworks display as closure event.

Although Celebration of Freedom is a lively and noisy event, alcohol beverages are strictly not permitted. However non-alcoholic drinks and coolers would be all around the vendors’ area.

Christmas isn’t complete without Christmas Parade. Just like Celebration of Freedom, Christmas parade starts with a parade from The City hall following the same route. Before the parade starts there will also be the annual Reindeer Run. Participants should wear antlers and run or jog down to the parade route. The fun run is a fundraising for the Rachel’s Challenge program at Melissa Middle School.
